morethanhotels which owns and operates nine Express by Holiday Inn hotels under licence from Six Continents Hotels Inc., has purchased Foremost Hotels Ltd for an undisclosed sum adding a further three Express by Holiday Inn Hotels and 378 rooms in key locations to the group.
The agreement will add the Express by Holiday Inn Bristol City Centre; the Express by Holiday Inn Birmingham NEC and the Express by Holiday Inn Stafford, M6, Jct 13 to the morethanhotels growing portfolio of properties. Last month the group announced it had acquired the lease for the Express by Holiday Inn Bradford City Centre from Gallagher Developments.
morethanhotels is purchasing the three hotels as a going concern including staff. The purchase will boost the total number of rooms in the group to 1359 rooms, which includes a new 34 room extension to the company’s Express by Holiday Inn Newcastle Metro Centre hotel opening next month.
“This is a major development for morethanhotels. To be in a position to add four hotels in the space of just three weeks is a tremendous step forward in terms of our plans for growth. morethanhotels operates Express by Holiday Inn hotels in Bradford, Canterbury, Gloucester South, Lichfield, London-Wandsworth, Manchester, Newcastle Metro Centre, Peterborough and Southampton West.
