Staff at the Express by Holiday Inn Southampton West invited children from the local Rose Road Association to an afternoon of games and tea. The Association provides services to disabled children and their carers and family.

The children enjoyed hot dogs, jelly and ice cream whilst playing games such as pass the parcel. Scooby Doo (alias a Duty Manager from the hotel!) also made an appearance to give out snacks and play with the children.

“Each year we hold a local event at the hotel. Last year was special VE day celebrations, and this year we chose Rose Road to offer the children a lovely afternoon out enjoying themselves,” said hotel general manager Joanne Landon.
